Once the main international airport for Malaysia. The international airport was moved to KLIA, Sepang in 1998. SZB was used for certain domestic flights until July 2002, when all flights were to move to KLIA.
Today, it is mainly used by TUDM, Transmile, Aviation schools and other purposes. The air traffic is really low and nothing much for planes spotting. 8-(
