| An unique place as most of the development was surrounding a lake/pond.
Places like Mines Shopping Fair, Mines Wonderland, MIECC Exibition Centre and Mines Resort Hotel in one side of the lake. On the other side of the lake, Palace of the Golden horses, Golf Club, Business Park and Sapura@Mines building (The only odd one out as this building was sold). I said unique because :- 1. A "canel" is passing thru the shopping centre with boat rides to North or South lakes in the shopping area 2. A theme park opens only in the evening until at night 3. A "beach" in a city The north lake was the venue for F1 Speedboat for past 2 years. Many people been there might not notice the dragon head and tail outside of the shopping centre. The tail itself is situated in the divider of the road leading to the area. |
