Some unique or rare planes drop by at times added some surprises. I was at the airport almost every month for plane spotting. Some might say this is crazy but I just said it is a passion for plane spotting. Looking at the photos, every plane would tell a story of it's own. I am sure 2007 will be as exciting or better ! Jan '06 MAS wet leased 2 B737-800 but they were returned early to the owner in Mac '06 and livery was changed for other airline. Feb '06 Thai Airways was sending their MD-11. Oct '06 A long way from Netherlands departing early morning to Australia with some VVIP on board after resting for a night here Nov 1st '06 Kuwait Airways making a come back after stopping flying here for a few years. Smoky touchdown and welcome back. Dec '06 Rare to see Antonov 124 here. Eagerly waiting for another giant Russian plane AN-225 next year to bring in Buran (Russia space shuttle) for VMY '07 Aerospace exibition in SZB. Haze attack again in Malaysia during Oct & Nov '06. You can see how bad as I could shoot the sun direct without any filter at 1:35PM. Important note : DO NOT shoot the sun straight using your camera. Doing so will damage your digital camera and damage your eye. Lucky catch in a Nov '06 morning while spotting with Raj Changela from US. A moment that will be hard to come by. 3 MAS special paint scheme planes + AK Amazing plane. Only 1 word to describe : AMAZING !

KLIA was the 3rd and final stop after Singapore and Australia in this first Asia Pacific and Australia tour. Malaysia Airline has placed order for 6 A380-800 thru Penerbangan Malaysia Berhad. MAS will receive their 1st A380 in 2007. I certainly would not want to miss this great event of the year. All the photos here were taken on 18th Nov 2005. The day A380 flying back to her home in Toulouse, France. Special thanks to KLIA airport authorities for allowing public and spotters witnessing this event in observation hill.
